Obesity affects 54% of dogs in the US, can take 2-3 years off their life, and affects the joints, ligaments, & tendons making it harder to move. It can also cause other health risks like diabetes and heart disease. Fitness helps to keep them at their ideal weight and reduce the risk of certain health issues.
Fitness has a number of different uses that are all beneficial such as;
Exercise for dogs help them to live healthier and happier lives. It's not just a physical workout but a mental workout as well. It helps to strengthen behavior, focus, body awareness and confidence.
With the exception of puppy fitness, all dogs must have basic obedience to participate. Most Fitness Exercises use basic commands and require them to perform the exercises properly, so basic obedience is a must.

Furssage Canine Fitness Classes are located in Ashford, AL. They are held in the same building as Lucky Dog.
Online classes are the same price as regular classes.
Why is the price the same?
Even though we don't meet in person you still get the same quality of training and the same help you would in a regular class. In fact, because we don't meet in person, the online classes come with two 15 minute online help sessions.
You'll get everything you would from a regular class, just from home. We will cover all the same exercises, you will have the same homework, & you will have access to all of the same materials. The only thing missing is the extra doggy love I would get if I had your pup in a regular class.
The platform I use for Online Classes is Zoom. I email you the link to the class meeting, you click on it, it takes you to the class meeting and you just wait for class to start. Before the first class we will have a practice class meet & greet to answer any questions and let anyone who isn't familiar with Zoom try it out.
You do not have to purchase anything in order to use it. You don't even have to create an account if you don't want to.
No Worries. Just contact me and I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
